The S-100A is an annual refresher course that can be taken by anyone who has taken the S-100 or S-100A within the last five years. It reviews the most important wildfire suppression and safety topics from the full S100 course. 

The S-185 Fire Entrapment & Avoidance course is designed to prepare those who are planning to work in fire suppression activities in a capacity beyond initial fire suppression efforts required by industry workers. It is designed to prepare contract firefighters, danger tree fallers and assessors, machine operators, and any other fireline personnel to work safely in fire suppression activities for ongoing periods of time.
